Working Well with a Disability

working well with a disability logoWorking Well with a Disability is a six-week peer-facilitated workshop that builds on the content of Living Well with a Disability and considers health in the context of employment.  Workshops are offered through Centers for Independent Living and other organizations in many communities across the country.

The program is based on the Independent Living philosophy which recognizes that individual choice and self-determination are essential components of living independently in the community.
