As a person with a disability, you are entitled to the same public transit opportunities that everyone else enjoys.

However, in practice, accessing your transit services can sometimes be a confusing and frustrating experience.

Created as a part of Transit Access Project by Meeting the Challenge, Inc., the Riders’ Guide for Public Transit for People with Disabilities is designed to assist you in accessing your fixed route and ADA complementary paratransit systems by describing your rights and responsibilities under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and by offering useful tips that may increase your chances for a successful ride.
