a smiling man in a wheelchair follows behind a laughing young boy running with his tongue outThe National Research Center for Parents with Disabilities is a resource and advocacy project created to support parents with disabilities. The website features resources for parents with disabilities as well as resources for advocates, social workers, researchers, legal professionals, and policymakers, and others who aim to serve parents with disabilities.

You can find webinars, recent research findings, information about the work of the Center, recommendations for advocates, multimedia tips on parenting with a disability, relevant policy information, and information about trainings and technical assistance.

The Center operates under the recognition that parents with disabilities know what they need; their work is guided by an advisory board of parents with disabilities and family members of parents with disabilities.
